I finally found a solution, using the RealMedia player:
Bookmarks -> Customize or Update
Find Opera in the tree of application's user data.
Delete "Opera". It works on a per account basis in NT, XP etc... and only
one account was boffo.
WARNING: You will lose all your bookmarks and applications settings --
however, for superuser accounts ... the settings should be barren or only
modified slightly.
Sadly, the Opera installer is totally negligent: If you used "Opera 9
Beta" -- a great deal of application residue will still exist in your
registry and other locations.
My only registry cleaner at the moment is "Spybot Search and Destroy" -- and
it misses lots of old app residues.
Post by Max PowerHow do you delete Opera's RSS settings under Win NT (in account with
privileged user, but not superuser mode)?
I have a faulty URL string that makes Opera crash each time it is accessed.
